Radio Control Cars
New to radio control cars? Sometimes called rc cars, they've come a long way in recent years. From quite primitive models, there's been real progress in drive train and chassis engineering, and great improvements in engine design meaning that there are high performance radio control cars now available for the serious fans. Gas powered rc cars are amazingly quick and some are ready to run straight out of the box.
Ready-to-run (RTR) gas powered rc means that if you're a beginner, you can get started and be driving your car or truck within hours of opening the box. Gas rc cars are no longer restricted to serious enthusiasts. You too can enjoy screaming round the local track but be aware that gas rc cars and trucks do need a fair amount of maintenance and setting up if you're going to get the best performance from them. So it may be better to consider an electric powered model to start with.
Electric radio control cars also perform better then ever before. Modern motor design and ever improving battery life mean that longer and longer run times are achieved at higher and higher speeds. But without anything like the maintenance and setup needs of a gas (nitro) powered vehicle.
